Courtesy translation. If there is any discrepancy between this English version and the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails. The Juridiconline® service is currently provided in Spanish.
PREAMBLE — READ THIS BEFORE CONTINUING
Juridiconline® is an artificial intelligence assistant. It is not a lawyer, it is not a human being and it does not replace a professional legal opinion. It was trained and is supervised by Consejurídico lawyers, but its answers are exclusively informational and guidance-oriented. By using this service, you accept this distinction as an essential and non-waivable condition of the contract.
CLAUSE 1 — IDENTIFICATION OF THE PROVIDER
1.1 The Juridiconline® service is provided by Consejería Jurídica y Empresarial S.A.S., trading under the name and brand Consejurídico (hereinafter, “the Firm”), identified with NIT 900.755.739-9, domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, and registered with the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
1.2 The Firm has qualified lawyers holding a valid professional card issued by the Superior Council of the Judiciary, who design, supervise and update the parameters of the artificial intelligence assistant.
1.3 For purposes of this document, the terms “we”, “us” or “the Firm” refer to Consejería Jurídica y Empresarial S.A.S.

CLAUSE 2 — NATURE OF THE ASSISTANT AND LIMITS OF THE SERVICE
2.1 The assistant is artificial intelligence. Juridiconline® operates using an artificial intelligence language model developed by Anthropic, PBC (Claude). Although the interface uses a name and a conversational tone for the assistant, it is not a human person, it is not a lawyer and it does not act in the exercise of the legal profession.
2.2 Trained by lawyers; not a lawyer. The assistant's parameters, instructions and guidance criteria were designed by lawyers of the Firm. However, having been trained by lawyers does not make the assistant a lawyer, nor make its answers a professional legal opinion within the meaning of Law 1123 of 2007 and Decree 196 of 1971.
2.3 What Juridiconline® IS:
- An informational and general legal guidance tool on legal situations in Colombia.
- A preliminary analysis that helps the user understand their situation and whether they need a lawyer.
- A channel of access to the Firm for cases that require professional representation.
2.4 What Juridiconline® IS NOT:
- It is not a formal legal opinion or a legal report with evidentiary value.
- It does not create an attorney-client relationship within the meaning of Decree-Law 196 of 1971.
- It is not binding legal advice.
- It does not replace consultation with a licensed lawyer.
- It does not guarantee judicial or extrajudicial results.
2.5 Technical limitations of artificial intelligence. The user acknowledges and accepts that:
- The assistant is trained on legal information up to a cutoff date. The law may have changed. The user must verify that the cited rules are still in force.
- The AI may make mistakes, omit information or misinterpret complex facts.
- The assistant has no real-time access to court files, public records or procedural databases.
- Complex or high-impact cases necessarily require the attention of a human lawyer.
- There is no real-time human validation of the assistant's output. JURI's answers are automatically generated by artificial intelligence. The Firm's lawyers design and update the parameters but do not review each individual answer before it is delivered to the user.
- In urgent criminal cases (imminent arrest, ongoing charges, caught in the act), the assistant will immediately redirect the user to the Firm's human team.
2.6 Prohibition on substituting professional advice. The user must not make legal, judicial or contractual decisions affecting their rights based exclusively on the assistant's answers, without first consulting a licensed lawyer.
2.7 No attorney-client relationship. Use of Juridiconline® does not, under any circumstances, create an attorney-client relationship between the user and the Firm, or between the user and any individual lawyer associated with it. Such a relationship arises only through a written legal services agreement signed between the parties. Subsequent contact by the Firm's team (clause 4.3) does not by itself establish such a relationship.
2.8 Ethical limit and regulatory compliance. The Firm has adopted this model on the understanding that providing informational legal guidance, expressly distinguished from the professional practice of law, is compatible with Decree 196 of 1971 and Law 1123 of 2007, insofar as the activity does not involve representation, defense, binding advice or appearing before authorities on the user's behalf.
CLAUSE 3 — ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
3.1 By ticking the acceptance box on the form and starting the conversation with the assistant, the user declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and the Data Processing Policy in Clause 7.
3.2 If the user does not agree with any of the terms set forth here, they must refrain from using the service.
3.3 The Firm reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect fifteen (15) business days after their publication on the platform. For substantial changes, notice will be sent to the email registered by the user. Continued use of the service after that date will constitute acceptance.
3.4 Age of majority. The service is intended exclusively for persons over eighteen (18) years of age, or minors with the express authorization of their legal representative. By accepting these Terms, the user declares, under their responsibility, that they meet this requirement. If the Firm becomes aware that a user is a minor without authorization, it will cancel the session and refund the amount paid.
3.5 Territory. The service is designed for legal situations connected to Colombian territory or Colombian law.
CLAUSE 4 — DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE AND ITS PHASES
4.1 Free phase — Triage (6 turns). By entering their basic details (name, telephone and city), the user gains free access to an initial conversation with the AI assistant. The purpose of this phase is to identify the general nature of the user's legal situation. It comprises up to six (6) conversation turns, a turn being each message-and-response exchange.
4.1.1 Free-use limit and continuity of the conversation. Access to the free phase is limited to one (1) guidance session per calendar day, per email address. If the user tries to start a new free session on the same day on which they already used one, the platform will present options to continue by paying or to be contacted directly, without restarting the count of free turns. To provide continuity between sessions held on different days, the Firm may keep and use a summary of the content of previous conversations associated with the same email address, so that the user does not have to repeat information already provided.
4.2 Extended guidance phase — Paid (4 additional turns). Once the free phase has ended, the user may access four (4) additional turns of more detailed guidance by paying COP $39,900 (thirty-nine thousand nine hundred Colombian pesos), VAT included, through the Wompi payment gateway (Bancolombia S.A.). Payment is per session, does not create an automatic subscription and is neither cumulative nor transferable. The Firm will issue an electronic invoice in accordance with DIAN regulations.
4.2.1 Access to the paid phase is enabled only after Wompi confirms the payment. The Firm does not receive or store the user's credit or debit card data.
4.3 Potential commercial follow-up. At the end of the session, if the Firm's team identifies that the case is suitable for direct professional attention, a lawyer may contact the user at the details provided. This contact is discretionary, not guaranteed and does not imply any commitment to represent.
4.4 Google review. At the end of the session, the platform will invite the user to rate their experience. This invitation is voluntary and does not condition the service.
CLAUSE 5 — REFUND POLICY AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
5.1 Right of withdrawal (Law 1480 of 2011, Article 47). The user has the right to withdraw from the contract within five (5) business days following the date of payment, provided that they have not started the conversation of the extended guidance phase. To exercise this right, they must send a communication to consejuridico@gmail.com with the transaction reference number, within the stated period.
5.2 Extinguishment of the right of withdrawal on commencement of the service. Juridiconline® is an immediately performed service: it is provided at the moment the user sends their first message in the paid phase. Consequently, and in accordance with Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011, the right of withdrawal is extinguished at the moment the user starts the conversation of the paid phase, regardless of the number of turns used. Before starting that phase, the platform will expressly inform the user of this condition and require their active confirmation. Once confirmed, no refund will be available for any reason other than a technical failure attributable to the Firm.
5.3 Technical failures attributable to the Firm. If the service cannot be provided for technical reasons attributable to the Firm, the user will be entitled to a full refund. The request must be sent to consejuridico@gmail.com within 24 hours of the event, with the transaction reference number.
5.4 Refund periods. Approved refunds will be processed within the following ten (10) business days, through the same payment method used.
CLAUSE 6 — EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 The Firm will not be liable for damages, direct or indirect, arising from:
- a) Decisions made exclusively or mainly on the basis of the assistant's guidance.
- b) Legislative, case-law or regulatory changes after the date of the consultation.
- c) Errors or omissions in the legal information generated by the assistant.
- d) Incomplete, inaccurate or false information provided by the user.
- e) Interruptions due to maintenance, force majeure or third-party failures (Anthropic, Wompi, cloud providers).
- f) Indirect damages or loss of profits of any kind.
6.2 The Firm's maximum liability, in cases where it is legally attributable, will be limited to the amount actually paid by the user in the relevant session.
6.3 These limitations do not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Firm, or where Colombian law expressly prohibits such a limitation.
CLAUSE 7 — PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
7.1 Data controller. Consejería Jurídica y Empresarial S.A.S. · NIT 900.755.739-9 · consejuridico@gmail.com
7.2 Data collected. Full name, telephone number, city, NIT or national ID number where applicable, and the content of the conversations with the assistant. In the paid phase, the transaction is processed directly by Wompi; the Firm does not store financial instrument data. These conversations, and a summary of their content, may be kept and associated with the user's email address to provide continuity in future sessions, in accordance with clause 4.1.1, and not only within a single conversation.
7.3 Purposes of the processing. In accordance with Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013:
- i. Provision of the service: operating the conversation and delivering the legal guidance requested.
- ii. Commercial follow-up: contacting the user when their case has potential for professional attention by the Firm.
- iii. Billing: issuing an electronic invoice in accordance with DIAN regulations and meeting accounting obligations.
- iv. Service improvement: aggregated, anonymized analysis to adjust the assistant's parameters. Identifiable information is not used to train third-party artificial intelligence models.
- v. Legal compliance: responding to requests from competent authorities and keeping records required by law.
7.4 Authorization. By accepting these Terms, the user grants their free, prior, express and informed authorization for the processing of their data for the purposes described, under Article 9 of Law 1581 of 2012.
7.5 Rights of the data subject (ARCO). The user has the right to access, correct and delete their data, request its portability and revoke the authorization. Requests must be sent to consejuridico@gmail.com. The Firm will respond within the legal deadlines: 10 business days for queries and 15 business days for claims (Article 14, Law 1581 of 2012).
7.6 Retention. Data will be kept for five (5) years from the last interaction, or for such longer period as the applicable law requires.
7.7 Transfer to third parties. Data may be shared with Anthropic, PBC and Wompi to the extent strictly necessary to provide the service. Anthropic is prohibited, under its own terms of service, from using conversations generated through its production API to train its models.
CLAUSE 8 — CONFIDENTIALITY
8.1 Case information is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties outside the Firm, except in the cases provided for in clause 7.7 and the following paragraph.
8.2 If, during the conversation, the user reveals information about crimes in progress, serious and imminent threats to the life or integrity of persons, or situations that give rise to a legal duty to report, the Firm may disclose to the competent authorities the information strictly necessary.
CLAUSE 9 — USER OBLIGATIONS AND CONDUCT
9.1 The user undertakes to:
- a) Provide truthful and complete information. The Firm is not responsible for guidance based on false or incomplete facts.
- b) Use the service exclusively for legal queries of a personal nature.
- c) Not attempt to manipulate or alter the assistant's behavior through technical instructions or other methods.
- d) Not use the service for queries related to unlawful activities.
- e) Not reproduce or distribute the content of the conversations for commercial purposes.
9.2 Breach entitles the Firm to suspend access without refund and without prejudice to the corresponding legal actions.
CLAUSE 10 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
10.1 The Juridiconline® platform, its design, conversation flows, assistant parameters and other elements are owned by Consejería Jurídica y Empresarial S.A.S. and protected by Law 23 of 1982, Law 44 of 1993 and Andean Decision 351 of 1993. The Juridiconline® trademark is duly registered with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce of Colombia.
10.2 The guidance generated is for the exclusive and personal use of the paying user. Its reproduction, resale or commercial distribution without the Firm's written authorization is prohibited, as is presenting it as a professional legal opinion.
CLAUSE 11 — GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, in particular: Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Protection Statute), Law 1581 of 2012 (Personal data), Decree-Law 196 of 1971 (Statute of the Legal Profession) and Law 527 of 1999 (Electronic commerce).
11.2 To resolve any dispute, the parties agree to attempt a direct solution within thirty (30) business days of the dispute arising, by writing to consejuridico@gmail.com.
11.3 If no agreement is reached, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Civil Circuit Courts of Bogotá D.C., expressly waiving any other forum. The foregoing is without prejudice to the consumer's right to go to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce under Article 57 of Law 1480 of 2011.
CLAUSE 12 — DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE
By ticking the box on the form, the user expressly declares that they:
- ✅ Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
- ✅ Are over eighteen (18) years of age or are acting with the authorization of a legal representative.
- ✅ Authorize the processing of their personal data as described in Clause 7.
- ✅ Understand that Juridiconline® is an artificial intelligence assistant and not a lawyer, and that its answers are informational guidance that does not replace a professional legal opinion.
- ✅ Understand that, once the conversation of the paid phase has started, the service is provided immediately and no refund will be available.
CLAUSE 13 — FINAL PROVISIONS
13.1 Severability. If any clause is declared invalid, the others will remain in full force.
13.2 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the payment confirmation issued by Wompi, constitute the entire agreement between the user and the Firm regarding the use of Juridiconline®.
