1. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing and using the website consejuridico.com and the Jurídiconline services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use the service.

These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Consejería Jurídica y Empresarial S.A.S. (Consejurídico), identified with NIT (Colombian tax ID) 900.755.739-9, domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia.

2. Description of the services

consejuridico.com is the institutional website of the law firm Consejurídico S.A.S., which offers:

  • General information about legal services and practice areas
  • Jurídiconline: an informational digital legal assistant that provides general guidance on legal situations in Colombia
  • Consultation scheduling with the firm's lawyers
  • Legal blog with informational content

3. Nature of the Jurídiconline service — IMPORTANT NOTICE

Jurídiconline is an informational digital assistant.

The answers generated by Jurídiconline are general guidance of an informational nature and do NOT constitute:

  • A formal legal opinion
  • Binding legal advice
  • An attorney-client relationship
  • A substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney

For important legal decisions, Consejurídico always recommends consulting a licensed attorney.

4. Use of the service

The user agrees to:

  • Provide truthful and up-to-date information
  • Not use the service for illegal activities or activities contrary to Colombian law
  • Not attempt to access restricted areas of the system
  • Not reproduce, redistribute or sell the content of the service without authorization

5. Payments and billing

The full legal guidance service of Jurídiconline costs COP $39,900 per consultation. This payment is:

  • A one-time charge, with no subscription
  • Securely processed by Wompi (Bancolombia)
  • Non-refundable once the full guidance has been delivered

In the event of a verified technical failure that prevents delivery of the service, Consejurídico will process the refund within 10 business days.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the website (texts, designs, logos, source code, blog posts) is the property of Consejurídico S.A.S. and is protected by Colombian copyright law (Law 23 of 1982 and Law 44 of 1993).

Quoting content is permitted with express attribution. Commercial reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.

7. Limitation of liability

Consejurídico shall not be liable for:

  • Decisions made based solely on the answers of the digital assistant
  • Service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure
  • Indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the site

Consejurídico's maximum liability to the user is limited to the amount paid for the service.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the judges and courts of Bogotá D.C., waiving any other forum to which they may be entitled.

Before resorting to the ordinary courts, the parties will attempt to resolve the dispute through conciliation before an authorized conciliation center in Bogotá.

9. Amendments

Consejurídico reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of the service after the changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
